I'm alive

This is both my nickname and a statement of fact.

And this blog is supposed to be a testament to that. That I'm tired of passively consuming content, of doomscrolling TikTok, Instagram, or Facebook. Of pointlessly watching yet another YouTube video from which I gain nothing of value, or getting pissed off at shitstorms about politics on X or BlueSky.

And since I wanted to do something interesting with my life, I searched for something new until I came across Neocities. The thought of old blogs and the internet from my childhood was so intriguing that I finally decided I wanted to create something like that too.

A unique place where I can pour out my thoughts, a place where I can work and shape it the way I want, regardless of the whims of the platform's algorithm.

I can't fully say what will be on this blog, for now I'm slowly dropping things that I like here and (let's be honest) I'm just learning how to create pages in html. But what I can promise is that I will constantly work on this project. It won't disappear in a month or a year, and what's more, I will try to add a new sub every month.

Let's talk about subs!

Subpages or subs in short, are the heart of this blog. Each of them is dedicated to a different topic that somehow resonates with me.

At the start of the blog we have 4 working subs:

• Toram Online
• Danmachi
• Prince of Persia 2008

With more under construction, i.e.:

• Dungeon Dragons Online
• GIMP (yes, that graphics program)
• Re:Zero
• Mobile Suit Gundam

and with the promise that with each month, imalive.neocities.org will grow by another sub, until there is a great catalog of everything that... indeed, makes me.
